Preschool

The Preschool at One Tree Hill is zoned but is open to children who live outside of the One Tree Hill area, providing vacancies exist.

Children attend preschool up to 15 hours per week for 4 terms. Attendance is spread over 2 full days (8:45am – 3:15pm) each week and four hours of Bush Kindy at Para Wirra National Park on alternate Wednesdays (9.00 – 1.00).

The Preschool is an integral part of the school and students are already familiar with the school setting by:

• using the Resource Centre, Computer Room and Hall
• using the playground
• sharing visiting performances and celebrations
• working with a buddy class
• using the Computer Suite

In the term prior to beginning school students have two weekly visits to their new class. During the last visit parents are invited to meet with the principal and their child’s teacher.
