Preschool

The Preschool at One Tree Hill is zoned but is open to children who live outside of the One Tree Hill area, providing vacancies exist.

Children attend preschool up to 15 hours per week across 4 terms. Attendance is spread over 2 full days each week (8:30am – 3:15pm)  includes three hours of Bush Kindy at Para Wirra National Park on Wednesdays during terms 2 and 3 (9.00am – 12.00pm).

The Preschool is an integral part of the school and students are already familiar with the school setting by:

• using the Resource Centre and Hall
• using the playground
• sharing visiting performances and celebrations
• working with a buddy class

In the term prior to starting school, children have transition visits to their new class. Parents are invited to meet with the principal and their child’s teacher.
